I am an author and have asked this question to many doctors but have not found an answer that satisfies me. Here is my situation:

When I write, I generally sit in the same chair. One day when I got up from it, I noticed a rope of mucous where I was sitting. It then began happening more frequently and I got worried.

It is now apparent that I secrete some sort of mucousy liquid from my anus whenever I am concentrating hard. The stink is just unbearable and people can't be around me. I am wondering if anyone has ever heard of this???

You should see a doctor. it could be a number of things. An an-al fissure what , what is basically a crack in the wall of your anus, that can become infected. Does it hurt when you deficate? An infected rash, Hemmorrhoids, or possibly an std. You should definitely get into a doctor.
