Women's health magazine says that it is more about urine color than an 8 glasses of water a day quota. What do you think?

I think that individual factors vary widely. I've also heard many different ways of determining how much a person should drink (e.g., take your body weight and divide it by two to get the number of ounces you should drink in a day). If you think about it, it would depend on what kinds of foods you eat, what climate you live in, how active you are (you can lose a lot when you sweat), etc. I drink more than 2 liters per day of water, plus I get water in salads, fruit, other drinks (tea), and from other food sources. I'm a singer and can tell when I'm dehydrated because my voice clues me in. I also have very clear skin and attribute much of that to drinking a lot of water.
